Adopting a Dog

A Special letter from Ashish Chakravorty

3rd August, 2002

Hi Dogsindia,

I take this opportunity to thank you from the bottom of my heart in helping me find worthy houses for my puppies. I am also quite amazed at the overwhelming response that I recieved almost immediately after you placed my classified on your site. I recieved several calls and enquiries from all over the country.

I must add that you are doing a fabulous job in helping pet lovers connect with each other through your site. I am very keen that all the other dog lovers in this country get to know of the popularity of your site and the fabulous and noble work that you are doing for them.
My humble thanks to to www.dogsindia.com !!!!!!!
Shall stay in touch.

Regards

Ashish Chakravorty.

Every day dogs are abandoned by their owners for many reasons. They may not be able to look after the dogs for want of money to feed it,or because they do not have the time to take care of it. Large breeds are sometime taken up when they are puppies. Only when the dog grows up  does the owner realise the dog's need for space and freedom.

There are many  Rescue Associations doing wonderful work in rescuing anything from mixed breeds to highly pedigreed dogs. At Dogs India, we would appreicate if  Voluntary Organisations  inform us of their readiness to take such dogs into their shelter.

If you are looking for a dog to adopt, please place an advt. in the classifieds  in Dog Iindia, so that owners wanting to give away their dogs to loving homes or Rescue Organisations can get in touch with you. If you are an owner who is unable to take care of your dog, you too can place an ad in the classifieds saying, "Good Home wanted", to find a loving home.
