| This compact and muscular dog was once a tenacious ratter but soon became
a fashion accessory of working class Paris. It was a popular companion to butchers and
coachmen in France. It resembles a bull dog in some features. In some countries the ears
are cropped for cosmetic purposes only. It weighs 10-13 kgs and is about 31 cms tall. |
