| The Tibetan name Apso Seng Kyi for this dog means "hairy barking
Dog". the Tibetans bred dogs for temperament not for looks. This dog is an indoor
guard dog, which barks at unfamiliar sounds or sights. Once popular in the palace of the
Dalai Lama, it is now popular all over the world. It weighs 6-7 kgs and is 25-28 cms
tall. |
