| Having its origin in Great Britain, this breed was exported to Rome as a
Military and fighting dog. The Mastiff has contributed to the development of many dog
breeds. Its name is proudly derived from the Anglo-Saxon word -Masty, which means powerful.
One of the largest dogs in the world, it requires plenty of space and large quantities of
food. It is easy-going but very protective of its owners. It maybe Apricot-fawn, silver
fawn, dark fawn or brindle in colour. The weight ranges 80-85 kgs and the height is 70-75
cms. |
