Poodle (Standard, Miniature, Toy)

There are three types of Poodles, the Standard(Medium), Miniature and Toy.
Fifty years ago it was the most popular dog in the world and a fashion accessory. The Toy
variety and the Miniature are more popular. Their coat is cut only for show purposes The
Lion cut being the most popular. Pom-poms on hind legs give a clown effect and they were
helpful in keeping the dog warm. Grooming is very essential.
Weight & Height
Standard or Medium: 15-19 kgs /34-38 cms.
Miniature: 12-14 kgs / 28-38 cms
Toy : 6.5-7.5 kgs / 25-28 cms
