Springer Spaniel (English & Welsh)

| The English Springer Spaniel and the Welsh Springer Spaniels are two
different breeds. But both are hard-working and have outstanding stamina, working as
superb Gun dogs. The English Springer Spaniel has however diverged along seperate work and
show lines, whereas its Welsh counterpart has not. Both have their origin in Great Britain
and are excellent companion dogs. Th English Springer weighs 22-24 kgs and is 48-51 cms
tall. The Welsh Springer weighs 16-20 kgs and is 46-48 cms tall. |
